Troubleshooting Queries: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

HOW CAN I MAKE MY PHONE BATTERY LAST LONGER

Setting up the new phone can drain more battery as you will
be activating many applications and different features and your data is also
being restored and synced and hence it is important to note that the phone can take a few weeks to fully optimise.

A few things you can try to fix the issue.

  • Turning off unused applications: Applications running in the background as these will drain battery even if you are not using the phone. You can do this by going into Settings > battery and device care > tap battery > background and usage limits > put unused apps to sleep.

  • Software update : Ensure the phone software is up to date, you can check this by going to settings > Software update (Download and install) and
    follow the instructions.

  • Additionally you can check the battery status health through the samsung members app:
1= Open Samsung Members App and tap "Support" on the bottom.
2=Check your battery status through "Phone diagnostics"
    3= Tap "Test all".

This will display the battery health to you.

I'M UNABLE TO HEAR THE OTHER PERSON ON CALL

The simple troubleshooting steps below could help resolve the issue :

  • Check for Software Updates: Go to Settings > Software Update > Download and Install. Ensure that the latest system updates are installed, as they often include bug fixes and performance improvements.

  • Reset Network Settings: This can help with network issues causing calls to cut out. Go to Settings > General Management > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset your Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and mobile data, but no personal data will be lost.

  • Check Signal Strength: If the problem is happening in certain areas, it might be due to poor signal strength. Try making calls in different locations to see if this improves call quality.

  • Disable Wi-Fi Calling (if enabled): If Wi-Fi calling is on, try turning it off to see if that helps. Go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi Calling and toggle it off.

  • Contact Your Carrier: If none of these solutions work, the issue might be with your mobile carrier. It’s worth contacting them to check for any service issues in your area

I HEAR RATTLING NOISES COMING OUT OF MY ULTRA DEVICE

The rattling noise in ultra devices is very normal and nothing to worry about.

The noise comes from a result of the component that functions as OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) that minimizes shaking when taking pictures with the camera. If this small part is shaken
when the camera is not in operation, the OIS may hit the internal structure and make a
slight rattling sound.

You can read more about it here on the Samsung website.
