  1. Ensure Compatibility: First, make sure that your Samsung Galaxy device supports Wireless PowerShare. This feature is available on many recent Samsung Galaxy smartphones, including the Galaxy S10 series, S20 series, Note 10 series, Note 20 series, and some of the newer Galaxy A series.

  2. Check Battery Level: Ensure that your phone has sufficient battery level to share power. If your device's battery is too low, Wireless PowerShare may not work or may be automatically disabled to preserve your phone's battery life.

  3. Enable Wireless PowerShare: Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Quick Settings panel. Look for the "Wireless PowerShare" icon. It typically looks like a battery with a Wi-Fi symbol on top. If you don't see it, swipe left or right to find it, or you may need to edit your Quick Settings to add it. Tap on the icon to enable Wireless PowerShare.

  4. Position Devices: Place the device you want to charge wirelessly on the back of your Samsung Galaxy device. Make sure the devices are aligned properly for efficient charging. The back of your Samsung device, usually around the center, is where the Wireless PowerShare coil is located.

  5. Monitor Charging: Once the devices are properly aligned, you should see a charging animation or notification on your Samsung Galaxy device indicating that it's charging the other device. The charging device should also indicate that it's receiving power.

  6. Wait for Charging: Depending on the battery capacity and charging speed of the receiving device, it may take some time to charge. Be patient and leave the devices undisturbed while charging.

  7. Disable Wireless PowerShare: When you're done charging the other device or if you want to conserve your Samsung device's battery, simply disable Wireless PowerShare. Swipe down from the top of the screen to access the Quick Settings panel again, and tap on the Wireless PowerShare icon to turn it off.

  8. Remove Devices: Once charging is complete, remove the devices from each other. Ensure that both devices are disconnected to prevent unnecessary power consumption.

  9. Check Battery Levels: After charging, check the battery levels of both devices to ensure they've been adequately charged.

  10. Practice Caution: Keep in mind that using Wireless PowerShare will drain your Samsung Galaxy device's battery. Avoid using it when your device's battery is critically low or if you'll need significant battery life shortly.

By following these steps, you can effectively use Wireless PowerShare on your Samsung Galaxy device to charge other Qi-compatible devices wirelessly.

Let us know your thoughts on the above and do you know any other ways of power sharing on Samsung devices! Stay tuned till next week, when we come back with more HOW TO's.
